These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LiveLens platform, including our website, creator tools, AI Studio, asset library, and AR publishing features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@uselivelens.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. The Service
LiveLens provides tools to create, manage, and publish web AR experiences. Features may include image-target and world-tracking projects, media and 3D asset management, AI-assisted 3D generation, analytics, subscription-based plans with usage limits, and optional Built-for-You Concierge proposal services described below.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. The Service relies on third-party AR, hosting, and AI technologies; availability may be affected by factors outside our control.
4. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Paid plans and AI 3D credits are billed according to the pricing shown at checkout. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the applicable fees.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Settings → Billing, unless stated otherwise at purchase
- AI credits are consumed when generation jobs are submitted; unused credits may expire or roll over according to your plan
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in a promotion
- We may change prices with notice before they apply to renewals
- Concierge proposal fees (Section 5) are separate from subscription and credit charges and do not replace or reduce your plan fees
5. Built-for-You Concierge proposals
The Service may offer a Built-for-You Concierge option through which you can request that LiveLens (or its designated partners) design and build an AR experience for a specific project. Submitting a proposal request does not obligate either party until you accept a quote and complete any required payment for that project.
- Concierge work is scoped on a per-project basis. Fees are quoted based on project complexity, scope, assets, timeline, and related requirements, and are charged as a one-time fee for that project unless a written quote states otherwise.
- Concierge fees are an additional charge and are separate from your subscription plan, AI credits, and other usage fees. Paying for a Concierge proposal or completed Concierge project does not cancel, pause, discount, or replace your subscription, and does not exempt you from subscription or other plan fees required to use the Service.
- You still need an active account and any applicable subscription or plan entitlements to access, publish, host, or manage experiences on the platform, including experiences delivered through Concierge.
- Quoted scope, deliverables, revisions, and timelines are governed by the proposal or statement of work you accept. Work outside that scope may require a new quote or change order.
- Concierge fees are generally non-refundable once work has begun, except where required by law or expressly stated in the accepted quote.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of assets, projects, and other content you upload or create ("User Content"). You grant LiveLens a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute User Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service—including delivering published AR experiences to end users at your direction.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload User Content and to publish experiences that include it, and that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
7. AI-generated content
Outputs from AI Studio are provided "as generated." You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use in commercial or published experiences. We do not guarantee that AI-generated assets are unique, error-free, or free of third-party intellectual property claims.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes
- Upload malware, infringing material, or content that violates privacy or publicity rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Circumvent plan limits, credit systems, or access controls
- Publish AR experiences that mislead users about sponsorship, safety, or data collection
- Resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to users or the platform.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and design, is owned by LiveLens or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or underlying platform code except as needed to use the Service as intended.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party tools (including AR runtimes, payment processors, and AI providers). Your use of those components may be subject to separate terms. LiveLens is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AR EXPERIENCES WILL TRACK OR RENDER FLAWLESSLY ON ALL DEVICES OR IN ALL CONDITIONS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LiveLens AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).
13. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify LiveLens against claims arising from your User Content, published experiences, or violation of these Terms or applicable law, including reasonable legal fees.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required for legal or security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive (including limitations of liability and indemnity) will continue to apply.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where LiveLens is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should first be raised with us at info@uselivelens.com so we can try to resolve them informally.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email.
